 From the Director

Welcome to Carolina Storm Volleyball
Several years ago when I started Carolina Storm, I decided to make it an "everybody plays" club. I did this because over the years, I have seen so many kids tryout once, get cut and never try again. I truly beleive that everyone should have an opportunity to play the great sport of volleyball and I will never deviate from that core philosophy. With that said, I want to address a misperception as to what that means. In the beginning we did place everyone on a travel team and yes, we did suffer some consequences. In order to address that, we started our local program, which has grown tremendously since its inception. Many players have started in the local program and made the transition to travel teams as their skills have improved. As a result, we have been able to build much more competitive travel teams while still offering a place for those players who are not quite ready to play at that level. Therefore, Carolina Storm Volleyball is and always will be an "everybody plays” club. We have just expanded our available programs to better accomodate all levels of players.
