Steven Smith, President

Steven started Carolina Storm in 2005 and served as Club Director until April 2014. He now serves as President and Treasurer of the Storm organization. By reducing his role in daily operations, Steven is able to focus more of his time on helping families and helping players get into college. His passion for volleyball and desire to build the sport in our area led him to start Queen City Classic, a festival tournament held in the Charlotte Convention Center in 2013. In a short time the tournament has grown to over 270 teams with over 250 players participating in our annual recruiting showcase. Through his company, Volleyball Anarchy, Steven continues to strive to make the great sport of volleyball available to all who are interested in playing.
